My name is David Ashby, and I’m a dedicated family man, happily married for 28 years with three wonderful grown-up children. Based in Coulsdon, Surrey, I have been a professional photographer for the past decade, specialising in wedding photography, portraits, family portraits, maternity shoots, and bespoke events.

My journey into photography began as a hobby, capturing candid moments at family functions and events. The turning point came when friends and family started requesting me as the official photographer for their celebrations and asking about my rates. This motivated me to turn my passion into a profession, and I have never looked back since.

Photography is not just a job for me; it's a deep-seated passion. Over the years, I have had the privilege of meeting numerous clients and people from all walks of life, enriching my experience and honing my skills.
